At Trash Bin Cleaners Direct, we are proud to share some great news. On December 2022, we were subject to a compliance inspection at our Allegan, Michigan office conducted by the staff of the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Materials Management Division (MMD).
Inspection For Compliance
The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate Trash Bin Cleaners Direct compliance with Part 111, Hazardous Waste Management, and Part 121, Liquid Industrial ByProducts, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended (NREPA); Subtitle C of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA), as amended (July 1, 2018 edition); and any administrative rules or regulations promulgated pursuant to these acts.
Results Of Inspection
It is with great honor that the entire team at Trash Bin Cleaners Direct can say that after this meticulous evaluation and upon information obtained and observations made during the inspection, the
MMD staff determined that Trash Bin Cleaners Direct complies with the requirements of Part 111 and Part 121 of the NREPA, and Subtitle C of the RCRA, that were evaluated. EGLE staff viewed fully produced trucks and trailers (units) intended for service to clean residential trash bins.
The trucks and trailers appeared to be designed to capture water used to clean the insides of bins.
The design of the units includes a complex multi-stage filtration system that allows the same water to be reused multiple times for cleaning bins. This design allows the units to clean multiple bins without either refilling with new water or discharging used water.
Attaining this compliance is an achievement reached as a team, and we are grateful not only to our clients for their trust in our services but also to the staff of the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Materials Management Division (MMD) for their visit to our office.
